Arromanches -This model is completely scratch-built in 1:200 scale. I represented the aircraft carrier during the Suez Crisis in 1956. The aircraft that can be seen on the deck are Chance Vought F4U-7 Corsairs and Grumann TBM-3 Avengers. The aircraft have their wings painted with the typical yellow and black tips, which were applied during the Suez Crisis for quick recognition.

For the construction of this model I used balsa wood, Evergreen plastic card, metal, and resin. I used the ship plans which are sold by the French Navy Museum of Paris. I recommend to all Colossus Class lovers, this plan for building a model of this carrier. I spent more than one year to build this model.
