This is the USS Gwin DD-433 in 1:350 scale from Blue Water Navy. The completed model is on its way to Australia, as I type this report. It is one of the destroyers that will be in Kym Knight's huge diorama of the Doolittle raid convoy. He asked me to build one for him so I finished her in measure 12M camouflage to suit the time period of the other ships in his formation. The kit went together as well as a resin kit can. By using Squadron’s US Destroyers in Action, I was able to figure out all the parts. The BWN kit comes with a very nice set of photo-etch that will have more than you need to do a nice detailed job. I usually build larger scale so this little one was an interesting build.
