This is the Combrig 1:700 USS Baltimore Circa 1890. It's a really nice kit and went together easily, but it took a long time to put all the vents on as noted in the kit review. I tried to replicate the box art and made an "at anchor" scene. I used Gold Medal Models Ultra railings and Gold Medal ladders and anchor chains also. The colors were Foquil's Reefer White for the hull, Depot Buff for the stacks and vents, Caboose for the lifeboat gunwales, and Testor's US Army/Marine Corps Gulf War Armor Sand for the wooden deck. The bow crest was made from wine bottle foil painted with Alclad Gold, and the rigging stretched sprue.
