This is the HMS Hibernia, Royal Navy battleship of the King Edward VII Class. Rob Kernaghan used the Combrig 1:700 scale kit of HMS Britannia for the basis of the model of Hibernia. Of course the greatest change is the forward flying off system installed above A turret and running to the bow. There is a wonderful scratch-built early seaplane with pontoons on the turret and added plane boom on the forward face of the foremast. All photographs are by Jim Baumann.
