The name Giuseppe Garibaldi has been carried by the warships of the Italian Navy almost since its inception. The series of ships have been named in honor after one of the Italian heroes most responsible for the unification of Italy in the 19th Century. The current Giuseppe Garibaldi is the pride of the modern Italian Fleet. Giampiero Galeotti has built the Delphis 1:700 scale model of the modern Italian carrier and used his own Regia Marina photo-etch railing in the build.
