USS Birmingham in 1/700 scale depicting Eugene Ely launching a Curtis pusher aircraft from the bow from a specially constructed ramp (photo-etch box car siding) in 1910 at Hampton Roads, Virginia. The model was constructed from a Loose Cannon Productions resin kit with many embellishments. The sailors are from GMM, rails are from WEM.
