The Evolution of French Aircraft Carriers - Models by Georges Gazuit. Text by Felix Bustelo

Georges, a modeler from Montluçon, France, created this display with a combination of 1/400 scale kits and scratchbuilt models. The kits included the Heller Arromanches, Foch, Clemenceau, Jeanne d'Arc, and Charles de Gaulle and a L'Arsenal Aviso Type A-69. All of the others are scratchbuilt. This gigantic and impressive seascape was donated by M. Gazuit to the French Aéronautique Navale Museum in Rochefort, where it is now displayed.
