Here are some photos of my Flagship Models 1/192 scale USS Cairo, City Class gunboat. With any new release, I like to build one for the box art. I have published numerous photos of the build in progress, but these are of the finished product. The model is basically out of the box. The only exception to that is the rigging and the base. The model was painted with Model Master enamels and an oil based wash to pop out the details. It turned out better than I had hoped with its very busy appearance and maze of different diameters and colors of rigging.
