This is the Japanese light aircraft carrier Zuiho, as she appeared in a green camouflage scheme in 1944. Jae Won Kim of Tae Gu, Republic of Korea, built the Zuiho from the 1:700 scale kit produced by Hasegawa. He used the Hasegawa super-detailed kit and added brass photo-etch from Toms Modelworks, and antiaircraft guns from Pitroad. He also scratch-built some items from tube and wood. For painting the beautiful and intricate deck pattern, Jae masked the deck and painted it in layers. He did not use the decals. He also made some modifications to the kit.
