Here is a new brass barrel set in 1:700 scale from Lion Roar, set LE700041. This time it is the Japanese 14-Inch/45 guns found on the Kongo, Fuso and Ise class battleships/battlecruisers. In keeping with previous barrel releases in this scale, Lion Roar goes beyond just providing the modeler with the brass barrels with hollowed-out muzzles. Also included in this set are resin brass bags and a stainless steel photo-etch fret. Twelve barrels are provided along with the necessary twelve resin blast bags. The parts on the photo-etch set are for railing on the turret crowns, as well as vertical ladders up the turret sides.
