These are photographs of the newest addition to my 1:400th scale Sub Fleet. This is the Mirage O.R.P. Sokol, (Republic of Poland - Falcon), kit # 40428. This is the newer kit with the resin bow. The Sokol was originally the HMS Urchin. She was commissioned into the Polish Navy on 19 January, 1941. The model shows her as configured in 1944 at Gibraltar, painted in the "PB-10" scheme. This is another fine model from Mirage, but she definitely needs work to bring her up to standards.
