This is Nichimo’s 1/200 scale Otsu Class I-19 WWII Japanese submarine. I-19 is credited with sinking the American aircraft carrier USS Wasp in September 1942, during the battle of the Eastern Solomons. She became a victim herself when she was sunk by the destroyer USS Radford in November 1943.
I built this model in 1991. Listed below are the modifications/additions that were made:

Ř Fishing line was used for the rigging details-
This was great kit to build and it really went together well. I believe it one of the most accurate kits available of a WWII Japanese submarine.
