This layout depicts the landing at Okinawa. The LST-669, the LSM-29, the LCI-678 and all of the LCVPs were all assigned to the same squadron for the landing, so they would all have been on the beach together. Everything is 1:350 scale Commander Series models. The LCI has a full company (200) of marines on board and there are approximately 200 other sailors and marines on the layout.
