This kit is the Pit-Road ' Cleveland ' and I modified some of the parts. For added detail, I used some photo-etch sets (Gold Medal Model USN cruiser/destroyer set, Lion Roar USN radar set, water-tight door set, Tom ladder set, USN Floater Baskets set and some photo-etch scratch-builds) and various size of plastic and brass rods. I have spent much time in replacing the front and rear masts and adding details around the two funnels with plastic, brass rods and some photo-etch scratch-builds. Originally, I had planed to build Cleveland as a late war version, but finally it was mixed up.
