March 31, 2008 USS Enterprise CV-6 1944, Trumpeter 1:350 Scale, Built by Robet McGee - These are photos of Robert McGee's build of the CV-6 Enterprise. The kit is the 1/350 scale Trumpeter Hornet with a resin island conversion, photo-etch from both Gold Medal Models and White Ensign Models with additional planes from Trumpeter. March 27, 2008 USS Ingraham FFG-61, Dragon 1:700 Scale, Built by Carl Musselman - This model is the 1/700 scale USS Ingraham FFG-61 by DRAGON. It is mostly straight out of the box. Carl Musselman did, however, scratch-build the flag staff on the mast and added steel wire rod for the antennas. Added to the Destroyers Gallery.

March 13, 2008 IJN Aircraft Carrier Name Plates, Lion Roar, Set LE70070 - Lion Roar has released four sets of name plates, one each for the USN, German Navy, Royal Navy and Imperial Japanese Navy. Lion Roar set LE700070 is the set for the IJN and includes name plates for the six aircraft carriers of the Japanese strike force against Pearl Harbor. March 10, 2008 USS Enterprise CVN-65, Tamiya 1:350 Scale, Built by Louis Carabott - Louis Carabott just finished this Tamiya 1:350 scale model of the USS Enterprise CVN 65. Gold Metal Models and White Ensign Models photo-etch were used to detail both the ship and the air wing, however, there was a lot of scratch building. Added to the Aircraft Carriers Gallery. 


March 9, 2008 Grille, German State Yacht & Aviso, Combrig 1:700 Scale, Built by Peter Fulgoney - The Aviso Grille was the state yacht of Germany before WW2, and was to play another part after the conflict. As it happened, the ship became a mine layer, and was sold after the war as a cruise liner. This is the Combrig 1:700 scale kit of Grille built by Peter Fulgoney. Added to the Auxiliary Gallery. 


March 6, 2008 HMS Renown 1916, Fisher's Favorite, NNT 1:700 Scale - Now you can get the last true battle cruiser, Jackie Fisher’s beloved HMS Renown. February 26, 2008 USS Pennsylvania BB-38 1944, Dragon 1:700 Scale - Dragon deserves a hearty round of applause. They went out on a limb to produce a one-off design. How many injected plastic companies do this with warship kits? DML spent a great deal of effort and time to get it right and in case you didn’t catch the discussions on the message board during the development of this kit, Dragon actually listened to the opinions of ship modelers. February 3, 2008 Chiyoda, Japanese Seaplane Carrier, Aoshima 1:700 Scale, Built by Grzegorz Nowak - This is the kit from Aoshima in 1:700 scale of the Japanese seaplane carrier "CHIYODA" in the early 1942 configuration. Built by Grzegorz Nowak, additional parts include photo-etch from Tom's Modelworks. Added to the Auxiliary Gallery. 


February 2, 2008 USS Boston CAG1, Modified Trumpeter 1:700 Scale, Converted by Edwin Chan - Edwin Chan finished the USS Boston (CAG 1) by converting from the Trumpeter 1/700 Baltimore kit. She was the only survivor of the the class, as the other three were sunk at the Battle of Cape Matapan. An Chu built the Delphis Models 1:700 scale kit of the RN Gorizia.
