This is the Trumpeter 1/144 scale People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) Type 33G "Wuhan" experimental cruise missile submarine. This was a one-off conversion from the Type 33 Ming hull, which is based on a licensed version of the Russian Romeo. The project was apparently used as a test bed for submarine-based Chinese cruise missile technology. Supposedly, the boat is no longer in service. It is a nice kit but was a real pain painting in all those ballast drain holes.
