New from Blue Water Navy (MB Models) are 1/350 scale Imperial Japanese Navy decals. The set contains hull numbers, Japanese-style hull characters (kanji), flags, aircraft insignias, and hull-depth markings. The sheet, enough for two complete models, contains 4 sets of hull numbers, 17 sets of flags (10 types), and three sizes of hull characters (142 large characters, 65 medium characters, and 65 small characters). Insignia for 2 aircraft and 8 hull depth markings in black and white complete the decal sheet. To aid the modeler, Blue Water Navy has included application instructions and references for Japanese ship markings. This comprehensive set retails for $6.98, an excellent value.
