Lindberg 1:125th Scale

This is the old Lindberg "Landing Craft, Infantry" (LCI), approximately 1/125th scale. I was given the kit several years ago, prior to which I did not know of its existence.  It's not bad provided one makes a few minor improvements. I replaced the ugly kit guns with some H-R 20mm castings. I found a few suitable life rafts in my spares box, to which I added mesh bottoms.  The crew figures came from another Lindberg kit, the LCU, which is not as hard to find as the LCI. I painted the model using the now-defunct Floquil Marine colors, using a template from a Floating Drydock WW2 camouflage book.
